Emily celebrated her 8th birthday on the 8th of April. She was SO excited! We had a great day, especially since her birthday fell on Easter Sunday this year. We opened presents, had an Easter egg hunt, and invited our friends the Evankos over for cake that evening. I made her a farm cake as requested, complete with horses, pigs and chickens. She had a friend party with Sarah a week or so later. Emily is such a blessing in our family. She is cheerful, helpful, super smart and very witty. We are so blessed to have her in our home. As soon as she turned 8 the count down for her baptism started. She can not wait to be baptized. We are so proud of you Emily.
